Tuesday nights anyone?

Mikey just got called to be ward clerk. That means I will be spending even more time with our little baby all alone. It is really fun, but I feel my grasp of the English language slowly sliding away. Anyone free for girls night? I realize that most of my girls live far away :(, but if anyone is still in Salt Lake give me a call and let's get together. Ari and I would even be into driving down to Provo.

Three years ago tomorrow.

drum roll please...

At four months and four days Ari weighs in at an impressive 19 pounds and 6 ounces. Whew! no wonder my back is always sore. He is 26 inches long. Stay tuned for updates on his first tooth which we are pretty sure is well on its way.

You can't spoil a 4-month-old, right?

Waking up every hour or two at night to comfort and feed him. Holding him 90% of the day. Putting off homework, housework, and fun projects to smile and talk nonsense to him. Learning how to do everything with one arm so he can rest in the other one.

It is all worth it.

Besides, he deserves it. He will have to be a big brother someday, or the soul target of my constant worry and smothering affection.

paper gnomes

I am in love with these gnomes I made. I don't think it is very healthy how much I love them. They are made out of scrapbook paper and faces from a 1938 yearbook. Not sure what I will do with them, I just know that I need to keep making them.
